it seems to me that there is too much wheelwell clearence in the back wheel wells of a thirdgen. the front is nice and snug with the 245-50-16's, but the back has too much clearence. i met a guy with a 91 z28 vert, his car sat even from front to back, but he said the reason was his suspension in the back was collapsed or something, but i liked the look of it. if you look at a thirdgen it always seems the rear sits higher than the front, and i think it looks bad. how can you get it to sit even so that it doesn't look lower in the front?
would look like this, see how the rear sits low in the back, that looks way better...
that opposed to how it looks now:
see what i am talking about? the back sits way to high and it looks goofy.

thnx. this one needs a good inch at least. i think he wants to keep the stock ride height look but the rear sits WAY to high. and it seems a lot of thirdgens are like that.
i hate the jacked up rear look, once you get thoose isolaters out, the car will look much better
lol i do and he does as well!!! its funny, when we travel together, he finds the "perfect" places in parking lots that are sloped upwards and parks there so his car looks better lol...
Buying new lowering or cutting your stock springs, are what is needed to lower the rear. Removing the isolator will help some, but not much to be of much notice & certainly not enough to be the final solution.
