Drag Suspension

I was wondering what suspension set ups everyone's using for drag launch's. I'm not a corner carver and I'm not worried about a rough ride or anything like that, I just want a good launch. I'm not going to drive the car that much anyway. I've seen alot of nice full suspension kits but they all seem to be for handling, which is nice and I'm sure would help, but not what I'm really looking for. Thanks.

Re: Drag Suspension

Hello
I noticed that you are asking about what would be a good suggestion for a drag racing set up. I would suggest if it is going to be a street and strip set up to go with a single adjustable components in the rear. But if you arent worried about the ride quality and want the suspension to be bullet proof I would suggest going with a rod/rod combo. They will hold up a lot better than poly bushing. And another suggestion would be to go with a adjustable torque arm....either our tunnel mounted or a full length arm with a relocation cross member. And a set of SFC's are a must as well to keep the car straight and solid. Other than that all you would need is a good set of rear tires and adjustable shock for weight transfer. Below is a link to show you what all UMI Performance has to offer.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask and I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad

Re: Drag Suspension

im running spohn everywhere in the back. it was all pretty much a bolt in deal. yes get everyting adjustable just cause it could make life a lot easier. i got the torq arm that mounts to a new trans crossmember and it works great. i whent with poly bushings everywhere and it does fine. im running 13.0's on street tires and dead hooking. so i would say this suspensions pays for itself. and i know its not what your looking for but everything stiffer back there it corners way better than it use to.
