KYB GR2 and Spohn front coilovers?

Does this combo work in terms of part fitment? Do the KYB GR2 front struts have the fender well mount welded to them? I like the idea of ride height adjustability and not spending to much on struts that I will never get used to their fullest potential (i.e, koni's, billstein's, etc.) The rear QA1 setup is a given, I'm not worried about the the rear, it's the front. I just really like the price and O.E. or moderatley better performance of the KYB's. What do you fellow third geners think?

It will according to Spohns site, which says their coilovers will: "... work with any struts except Bilstein"

I'm not sure what you mean by this.

This pic shows what the mount looks like. Do they really have these mounts on them?

As far as my car plans go, I suppose you can say I want to take it into the 12 sec bracket, but keep it a street car. It is my DD afterall. It won't see any track time, maybe just to make sure it does break into the 12's, but never a road course.

...
They shouldn't, none of those struts even look like they are for our cars.
