ws6 suspension swap

well, my goal is put a ws6 suspension on my 84 z28 because i had a 86 trans am with the ws6 package and it was the 2nd best suspension i ever had(the best was my old 87 turbo coupe thunderbird with the firm ride control), i made a list of possible parts tell me if im missing anything
sway bars
springs
shocks
i know they have 4 wheel disk but i dont feel like swaping brakes
something tells me im missing some stuff

Though the Wonderbar (a steering box brace) is highly recommended, it wasn't a part of the WS6 package.

Not all WS6 packages had 4 wheel disc brakes. I have the WS6 package, and Drums in the back.

Red poly was probably OE on the WS6 (they were on my 85 IROC). For more info:

Re: ws6 suspension swap

The first thing that should be installed on thirdgens are sub-frame connectors. Then worry about everything else.

Re: ws6 suspension swap

Not part of the package:

I recommend a watts link upgrade, subframe connectors, control arm upgrades, torque arm upgrade, and the upper strut tower braces. If the watts link is out of range, then a tube panhard would be better than stock. Also, look at lowering your CG with drop spindles and springs if you want some more.

Re: ws6 suspension swap

i definately am getting new subframe connectors, since my 350 has 270 hp, not nothing special but you get the point, ill look into a wonder bar too, and for everything BShid said, i wouldnt need all of those because, my camaro has less than 90 thousand miles, the car sat for 15 years so alot of that is still good. ill replace it when it breaks lol
