Frame Rail Repair for SFC?

I have a set of weld-on subframe connectors that I would like installed on my car but I might have a problem. My front frame rails are pushed in on the bottoms. Where they are supposed to be flat they bow inwards. Will this be a problem when welding the sfc's in? If so, what can I do to fix them?

Re: Frame Rail Repair for SFC?

Pics would be really helpful here. Are they rustly or just bent. You may be able to bend them back.

They are not rusted, they are just bent inwards some from being jacked up on. I'll will try and get a picture when I get a chance.

Only if the SFC's attach there, and even at that I'm pretty sure the ones that do attach there attach to the outside of the frame not the middle part so it should be fine.

Re: Frame Rail Repair for SFC?

like mad max said, most SFC,s wont attach there, they attach more to the sides of the subframes. Hold up the SFC to the floor and see if you need to do anything to eh rails, most likely you wont have to
