Bad Strut Mount??

How do you tell if your strut mounts are bad???

Because of the 20+ year-old rubber involved in the old mount (consider how the rubber looks under the car), I'd assume that there'd be undue movement causing some slop in handling. Add that bit of slop to a worn idler arm, center link, tie rods, gear box, etc. and performance will obviously suffer. Ask me how I know?
