I installed this brand of lowering springs on my '87 IROCZ.

They lowered the car about 1.8", which was a little too much for my IROCZ. I bottom out entirely too much.

If you want to lower your car, my recommendation is to purchase a set of springs that will lower the car about 1.25" max.

I have them on my 92 Z and the only problem I have was the air dam, I had to cut about 1" off it. The car is fully loaded and has duel cats on it. I loaded it down with camping gear and a 10" telescope last year and did not have any problems with bottoming out. You do have to watch how you drive, steep inclines can cause a problem.
