can someone make sense of these alignment numbers?

so my car has lowering springs koni shocks and founders strut mounting plates and all new steering parts. into on it in for alignment and got these results that I wasn't happy with as the car pulled.

left front right front
-1.camber -0.7camber
4.5 caster. 2.1 caster
.01 toe. -0.03 toe
total toe
-0.01 total toe
steer ahead
0.02

so I took it back up for another alignment

and here are the results and three of the numbers are still out of spec

left front right front
1.6 camber .6 camber
3.5 caster 3.5 caster
-0.02 toe. 0.02 toe

total toe
0.00
steer ahead
-0.02

I asked him about the numbers that were in red left camber and caster and right caster and he said he could t get it the driver side plate is maxed out. I looked at it and it is maxed out torward the fender I assumed of anything it should be moved toward the brake fluid reserves the other one appears set in center.

so I have no idea why that can't get the right numbers.

I wanted around 4.5 caster and -.5 camber

anyone with any ideas suggestions of what's going on?

Re: can someone make sense of these alignment numbers?

the other question I just noticed was I have the founders adjustable mounts and u can move the shock position forward or back for street strip ect but I didn't think you woukd adjust these for an alignment. one is fully forward and the other is in the middle.

Re: can someone make sense of these alignment numbers?

The strut towers are slotted for caster adjustment. forward and back is caster, side to side is camber.Your caster seems the same from side to side according to the last measurement, so I wouldnt move it, but normally they're supposed to be slightly offset to account for road crown. But if it doesnt pull weird I wouldnt worry about it.

See if you can increase the camber on the side with less camber.... and by that, i mean see where the limitation is. Is it the strut mount? The brake master cylinder?

actually that struts plate is adjusted fully toward the fende fully right and away from the master cylender which I find odd since it's always been close to the master cylinder.

another thing I noticed I don't think they moved the plate forward or backwards to get the measurements but moved the adjustable bearing that the shock mounts too as they are both set different.

Try these specs. I'm not impressed with your alignment shop. It looks like they don't know what they are doing. They hook the machine up and turn the numbers green and collect your money. There are 100 threads on alignment on here.

you want things to be even. except maybe a little extra caster for road crown but its not necessary. I didn't do it and my car drives fine.

Lots of positive caster (towards firewall), A little negative and even camber, and 3/32 to in. Thats -.045 on each side in degrees.

Yup, looks like you need a new alignment tech.

I sure wouldn't drive it much like that; the tires will leave black stripes of rubber going down the road, and probably won't last 100 miles.

Re: can someone make sense of these alignment numbers?

so I have the adjustable shock tower bearing. what position should that be set at before the alignment. to me it seems like they shouldn't be moving this for the alignment and move the plate forward and backwards instead.
