1LE Problems!!!! H E L P!!!!

I am finally finishing up my 1LE brake upgrade on my Z.I did the rear upgrade this summer when I tore the rear out to rebuild it and waited till this winter to do the front upgrade. My question is when I bought the front pads(Performance Friction #412Z)they came with 4 clips(kinda like a u shape of some sort-I am guessing two per side),are these anti-rattle clips,or better yet...what are they and where do they go??Second, how are the calipers held in their cradles??Pins, bolts, just sit there??Give me a clue guys!!!!Pictures would help a ton if at all possible.I have went to ANDYZ28's 1LE site but can't find a picture that clearly illustrates these two dilema's I am confronted with, and no help from Chilton or Hayne's manuals.Any and all help is greatly appreciated!!TIA

The pin that you see in my attached photo is what retains the caliper in the caliper carrier. It can only be installed in the direction shown (outboard to inboard). It is retaind by an "E" clip.

If you will look carefully just beneath the pin, you will see two small U shaped clips. These are the spring clips you are referrins to. They attach to the rear of the pad metal backing plates. If you look at the pads you will see a small indentation in the tab at one end of the pad. The clip/anti rattle spring attaches there is a small projection on the clip which snaps into the tab on the brake pad.

I hope I have been able to help you.

Thanx,ANDYZ28

Only 1 pin is required per side. You will also need 1 "E" clip per side.

A long time ago someone said that they got these parts from AutoZone or Advance. It was listed as a brake hardware kit.
