Hello all,
I have a 1989, Firebird, 305, Vin Code E. I just purcahsed the rear disc kit from Baer, the salemans told me that I needed the proportioning valve, so I purchased it. Then I looked at my system and saw that I have a stock valve installed. I have seen a pic with this valve installed on this site, however I can not find it anymore. I know the valve goes on the rear brake line. My question(s) are do I have the cut the break line and flare it then add the baer valve in line before or after the stock prop. valve? Or do I just somehow bypass the stock valve?
Any information will be greatly appreciated in the installing process of the baer valve, including pics.
