Anyone know where to put the "T" in the prestone backflush kit on our cars? 92 305 tbi. Which hose does it splice into?

I like the fact that it flushes the engine block more thoroughly instead of just the radiator. I've used it on other vehicles in the past and it's an easy way to back flush the system.

I just back flushed the system on my Camaro a few days ago using the Zerex chemical cleaner just for peace of mind (I usually just use water) and found after backflushing the system with the Zerex cleaner the water was almost perfectly clear coming out of the radiator neck.

I've never back flushed a cooling system on any vehicle using the prestone kit and found really dirty or brown water coming out of it. If you maintain the cooling system on a regular basis, the inside of the engine block will stay clean.

Thanks for the info and I really appreciate the pic. I assume you have to have the heater on for it to work right?

Yes, the heater has to be on to circulate the water through the heater core.
