Hey guys i can get one for 70 bucks. Is there any way to get tha damn thing on there without moving the AIR stuff or do i have to do that. If i have to do that what is the easiest way to do have that done? I dont want to relocate my coolant bottle either. So is there anyone out there that has done this mod and not had to mess with the AIR or coolant bottle? Also, is 70 bucks a decent price for the dual snorkel? Thanks guys.
I have done a search and cant come up with how to keep the AIR as well.
When I put on my duel snrokel, I had to move my air and get a different coolant bottle. If you can put it in without doing any of those two things, I'd love to see it cause I don't think it can be done. By the way my car is a 92. In the end I went to open air element anyway and it is much better. That is what I would do. Spend your cash for a new 14" air cleaner and save the headaches.
Laters,
Conrad.

14" Open Element for sure dude. w/ a K&N and you'll be set
What did you do about the heat pipe coming up off of the exhaust manifold? Have you driven this in the winter? Does it interfere with proper warm up and drivability in cold weather?
Did you just reroute the vacuum hoses from the breaker in the air cleaner itself? The electrical plug in the air cleaner.....did you just leave that hanging?
and..............(finally) the crankcase ventilation filter, did you just put a breather on your valve cover?
I am interested in the mechanics and logistics of this.........building a dual snorkel set-up is a DRAG!!!! If you can provide any clarifying answers i would appreciate it!!!!
heat pipe is useless it kills performance, mine is stock but i dont have a use for the pipe. as far as winter goes your engine is gonna get hot one way or another. the thermac vaccum valve that goes to the aircleaner most guys have that capped off at the TB. i've seen some guys that put a breather on the tube and leave it, thats "TACKY", breathers are better. Why not save money and go open element 14" x 3" aircleaner can be had for about $22.00 mr.gasket.

I think $70.00 for one is right in the ballpark. Does it come with the ducts and hoses? eBay is a good place to check and see what the going rates are. I have yet to run across one of these set-ups at the junk yard.
I am still working out the routing of everything, the coolant bottle and A/C are a pain in the butt. I have bought some of the parts at GM recently. If you can get your friendly GM dealer parts counter guys to print this picture it is a great reference for the dual snorkel air cleaner set-up: 1984 F emission controls V-8 (L69/305G) (General Motors - [1984 Chevrolet Berlinetta - Camaro]. he should be able to pull it up using that.
Here is a price list with numbers:

If anyone has the left and right hand ducts available (part numbers 14070917 & 14070918) I would be interested in purchasing them.
I am also interested in any other member's pictures of their dual snorkel air cleaner mods. Mine is in progress. Just need the ducts and a little more ambition!!!
yearone.com has the entire setup, including separate parts, and the ducts are still made, so are the fresh air hoses. GM Performance Parts. junk yards will hoard these items i picked one up for $20 but sold it for shortly after.

Year One does NOT carry the whole set up. They show the picture for the set up on page 68 of their current catalog. The parts they offer for sale are: Hot air tube, fresh air elbow, fresh air hose (both sides), wing nut, and duct screw.
GM no longer stocks or sells the ducts or air cleaners (not even at GM Performance parts). They only sell the hoses.
