TBI internal fuel pressure regulator adjustment.

I freshened up my tb with new gaskets and cleaned everything thoroughly today. While I had it apart I thought I would increase the fuel pressure a little. I backed out that screw about 3 turns decresing the springs resting length a little. The little external indicator moved about 1/16th.

Did I do it correctly or did I mess up?
How much did i change the FP in your guess if I did it correctly?

I belive you turned the screw the wrong way. The best thing to do is to add a fuel pressure gage in the high pressure fuel line and then adjust the regulator.

You need to screw it in to increase the pressure. Typically every 2.5 turns is 1 PSI of increase. You need to data log to varify how your adjustments are doing correctly.
