Originally posted by ShiftyCapone There is not much difference between the T5 cars and auto cars when stock in the 1/4. Also the 3.08 was also a peg leg and not posi.
Originally posted by TraviZ for the record, my 3.08 is posi.
unless you prove me otherwise?
straight from the rpo codes in my car..
G80
AXLE POSITRACTION, LIMITED SLIP, 28 spline
What you have then is the rarest possible factory pre-ordered option. You could get the 3.08's with posi in the RS but only through special order. The cost was so high it was cheaper in the long run to step up to the Z28. The RS and base birds were not considered performance cars by the general so they did not recieve performance options to choose from. 99.999999999% of all 3.08/T5 equiped LG4 and LO3 cars had an open rear end.
Originally posted by TraviZ i wonder why the owner decided to put posi on this.. any other options that would be rare for my car? since im interested now lol
Now you are positive that you have both the GU4 and G80 RPO codes? It is just so rare it is hard to swallow. GM didn't have many 2 series posis for the 10 bolt.

The flowtech shorties for f-bods come with 1 1/2" primaries and 2.5" collectors.

Do you work at a Kragen in CA? If so how could they be selling flowtech headers? I've never seen a California Legal version of Flowtech headers because they don't have the A.I.R. injection tubes on them.
