Fuel Injectors Won't Fire

Hey all, I have an 89 RS convertable Camaro. Lots of mods. A little while ago my car wouldn't start right. I replaced just about everything. The reason was the injectors aren't firing. So, I got a new fuel pump relay, fuel pump, ECM, PROM, and a bunch of other stuff i don't even remember. Still nothing. I finally today found the problem, It IS my fuel pump relay. My brother got me another 1 by mistake and since it was newer i thought what the right? It worked!.................For a second. After all my cursing, and throwing around tools, I took my new fuel pump relay off, yep, it's fried. the other ones too. So my question is, What the heezy is friing my relay?? I thought it might be a bad ground but everything is cool. HELP PLEASE!!!! I'm 'bouts ta kick the ever loving ish outta it.

You could have a bare wire somewhere that is shorting it out. I would trace them and make sure the insilation is not damaged.

The bare wire idea is what I was going to recommend also. I think that there is also a fuze on the passenger side engine bay wall near the battery you might check that. Although I guess if that was screwed no power would be getting there anyway.

All righty, after taking all of the coverings and everything off. I still haven't found anything. everything is grounded, no wires are bare. The only thing I can think of is there is a plug under my car that goes nowhere. It looks like the one that plugs into the tranny except the wires are yellow and purple. No one can tell me where this goes, I even asked them to find it at Blood Ent. when I had it there. I don't know, I'll get back to you if I find anything. Oh, by the way, I thought that is was kinda funny that after you mentioned that fuse I blew it. lol Oh well, at least I knew where it was. thx
