Taking off IAC

This might be a stupid question, but oh well...I recently rebuilt my TBI but did not remove the IAC. That is the only part I did not replace on the TBI. Anyway, I am regretting not removing it and cleaning it separately then installing it with a new gasket. Do you think it would be a good idea to just remove it while the TBI is still attached to the intake manifold? OR do you think I should go through the process of taking the TBI back off meaning I would have to install a new gasket to the manifold??? I cleaned the hell out of the TBI with carb cleaner and got the underside of the IAC pretty good too...what should I do?

Jsut unscrew it. Nothing too hard about taking it off. If you suspect its dirty then disassemble and clean it and reinstall.
