Holley projection manifold #300-66

Does anyone run this manifold and if you do, do you like it and how much taller is it than stock?

I ran one when I first swapped my 305 to TBI, it is a little taller than the Edelbrock and shorter than my RPM intake/Projection adapter combo. It should fit under a stock truck hood with ease. It fit under my stock van doghouse easily.

did you get better results with the edelbrock or the holley? I'm torn between the lower cost of the holley and the easier install of the edelbrock. what type of air cleaner were you using? the 10" edelbrock I'm running is about 4.5" tall and at a quick glance with a level last night showed me that I've only got 1 1/4" before the front edge of it pokes above the lower lip of the fender. I think I'm going to investigate my clearances a bit more.

I took some measurements.. as it stands right now, I've got 3 3/4" clearance between the front edge of the air cleaner and the bottom of the hood gusset/w no hood insulation, so I shouldn't have any clearance issues.

The edelbrock made more torque from idle-3,000. The Holley made more power above 3,000 rpm. Throttle response off-idle was better with the edelbrock. The holley seemed to like being dragged into the upper rpm band better. I am actually running a holley carb intake with a projection adapter as of a couple of weeks ago. Runs well. I think your cam would do better with the Holley.
