I havent been getting much feedback on the tpi with stuff but i figured this board would have more usefull info on the lt1 cam. I have a pretty much stock 89 tpi 350 only major mods is full exhaust from slp. I was thinking about aluminum l98 heads how much better are these then stock iron heads? Also will they raise my compression? Well for the main thing i wanted to know what are specs on a 93-97 lt1 cam i kno there different throught the year but which lt-1 cam should i look for getting in my tpi. What is the intake and exhaust duration, valve lift, lope seperation, rpm range on my stock l98 and on a lt-1 cam. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The alum. L98 heads will raise your compress, but they are also alum. You shouldn't have any issues there. Considering the vette's came stock with your bottom end, and the alum. heads.
I would go with a little more than that LT1 cam for a 350, the L98 cam, is actualy pretty similar spec wise to the LT1 cam. I would put something just a hair warmer in a 350, if I was going to go thru the trouble of a cam swap. If you are sticking with TPI, I wouls shoot for something in the 212-216* duration range.
If you are going with a HSR or aftermarket intake, Then go for something like the Hot-Cam, that would be a nice fit in a motor with some mildly ported L98 heads, and a HSR.
Anybody got the specs on the lt-1 cam? I kno I can go bigger but i dont wanna pay 300 for a cam when i can get a lt-1 cam for hardly nothing. Also i dont want a huge cam that is gonna ruin my heads or mess up my computer.
