hey tbi guru's?

hey guys im having problems tuning my tbi setup, i have a wideband tuner so that helps quite a bit i have the afr in the 14-15 range mostly everywhere, that wasnt to hard, but the problems im have are hunting idle and im getting super rich spikes if i quickly rev the engine, then it will level out again. Im also getting a very bad lean spike as soon as it let off the throttle quickly.
could u guys please tell me what tables i need to look at in order to take care of these problems,
thanks

The rich spike your seeing is your pump shot at work. It should dip quite a bit when you first nail the throttle but should level out at what ever your PE target AFR is as soon as possible. In order to do this you need to fiddle with your AE (pump shot) tables. Try backing out pump shot until you get a lean pop and watch the WB as you do this, you'll see where the engine responds the best and where things go all wrong when it's too lean. I find that letting my AFR dip into the high 10's for a second and then stabilizing at my PE AFR of 12.5 works the best for my motor. Your lean spike is normal, unless it's causing a backfire.

You oscillating idle is an overactive IAC valve, the stock routines tend to over compensate on a motor that’s been modified much. I suggest you look up Rbob's post on how to tame your IAC. I can't remember the name of the paper off the top of my head, but it lays out where all the constants that control how fast the IAC reacts are located and what does what.
