Quater on the FPR

Will someone who has done the quater trick to raise fuel pressure please explain to me ghow it is done??? Does it really work??? Is it worth the trouble??? I am going to do the injector spacer, and the TBI spacer this month, so I figured if it is easy (It is free) I might do it at the same time..Thanks for any help on this issue, and MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone...Tom

Just make it adjustable. You really won't actualy gain anything, unless your car actualy needs more fuel. You won't gain anything by just dumping fuel in. I would suggest you not bother with that, and instead start getting into computer work. If you plan to modify the car, working with the computer will be the best thing you can do.

Dewey316,
Thanks for the advice...I am going to do some computer work ASAP, just not real sure how to procede...I am also looking to do any "Free" mods, as money is VERY tight right now...I have a used set of Edelbrock TES headers, and 3 inch y pipe I am putting on in a few days..Have done the AC delelte, and a good breathing ramair setup, those 2 items made quite a bit of difference as far as fun to drive....How would you suggest I procede with the computer work???? Thanks, Tom

Thats exactly it. Read the matterial here. Save up the $100 or so dollars to get started, and then start there. I picked up almost a full second at the track, with just tuning on my stock motor. It is a good thing to do. Later on, without that computer work knowledge, I never could have gotten my motor to run well, with the cam/heads/intake.
