Will Edelbrock Elite Series Air Cleaner fit?

Just wondering if the elite series air cleaner will fit without any problems? I have the edelbrock valve covers, and want it to match. Also, will a 3" element clear ok? Thanks.

the first 2 open elements I got were edelbrocks. They were drop bases = waste of money. Get a flat based edelbrock open element if they make one. The 2 I got were from Pep Boys. Or if Edelbrock doesn't have one, get a Mr. Gasket one too and just use its flat base.

Not sure about edelbrocks but the summit ones will not clear the distributor. I had to buy an half inch spacer to make everything clear ok. Oh and A 14X3 element will fit. Even with the spacer

I have the Elite series triangular one, it fits perfectly if you remove the spacer ring. It's pretty much a flat base, clears everything real well, and looks bad as hell.

Thanks guys. I have it on order from jegs today. I will get a flat base bottom if it has a drop base. Thanks for the help.
