Will my TBI setup work on aluminum L98 heads??

I am looking at a 355 with aluminum L98 heads and a performer intake.

Will my tbi setup work with this? And if so, will I need to change my intake to a performer tbi??

thanks!

yes TBI will work on this. If you don't want to mess with chips get the performer TBI, but if you want to mess with chips, get a single plane intake. That TBI intake would be good with a stock chip and more fuel pressure because the fuel and spark curve wouldn't change shape, it would just be greater. A single plane intake will need a modified fuel and spark curve to handle all the new upper RPM that engine would be seeing.

That's not true. The stock 305 and 350 spark and fueling curves are different in shape and size. The stock WOT fueling falls off pretty quick after 4200rpms.

the size is different but the shape is close enough to get away with a stock chip. i.e. Tim, NJ Speeder. Size can be booseted with fuel pressure. Its not a totaly different shape like how it would be with a single plane.

any setup differing from stock is going to need a new chip. However, its much more dependent on CI and camshaft selection than what manifold you use
