Smell from car when racing.

I have a 92 305 TBI and everytime i race there is this stinky smell. Basically everytime i flor it. i think its from the engine compartment. I cant really describe excatly what it smells like but it kinda smells like burnt oil. I do have leaky valve seals but other than that my engine is in good cond. as far as i know. I just put a new cat on so i know its not that. Anybody have any ideas what it might be. Startin to worry me.

I had a car that did that once. The smell was blowby. It had so much blowby that it would push out around the pcv valve and you could smell what you are describing. Not much you can do about it. Too much ring wear on the compression rings. A leak down check would verify it.
