tbi -injector spacer or throttle body spacer?

what would be a better a tbi plastic injector spacer-or a throttle body spacer(between intake and tb)? the injector spacer on ebay boasts better gas mileage and small hp gain. anyone even ever heard of or used these?

Re: tbi -injector spacer or throttle body spacer?

Just bought a throttle body spacer on Ebay, haven't installed it yet. People sometimes have problems with the throttle linkage.

The injector spacer is a good idea. You may have to do some grinding on the throttle body so the fuel line fittings will clear. A lot of people say if you want to go the easy route, just stack two injector housing gaskets on top of each other.

I doubt either of the two mods do as much as claimed though, however if you can find the parts cheap, why not. Combine them with the Ultimate TBI mods.

Re: tbi -injector spacer or throttle body spacer?

to the contrary belief.... in my suburban, the tbi spacer made a huge difference, as far as throttle response, this is with the 4l60 in a 95... the injector spacer was done at the same time... so yea, I think its worth it, it will be a seat of the pants difference! dont spend more than 30 on the spacer and 10 on the injector spacer. check ebay.. i would not drive my truck without one again.

ditto, i had put a tb spacer on my lo3 and it really seemed to increase low end torque.
