just installed open element

hey guys i just put in an open element air cleaner in my tbi today. the bottom of the base had a hole in it already and i stuck the iat sensor in there and it fit perfectly. i have a question about some hoes i plugged tho. i read on here that that you have to plug some hose...is it the big hose that has a 90 degree angle? there was also a lil vaccum hose that was on the stock base running to the snorkel? what are these 2 for? i plugged both.

You plug the little vaccum hose line. You dont want to plug the other one though.

What is everyone using for the air cleaner stud?

Just a long universal one and bend it?
