Is it possible to have to much fuel at high RPM?? Example if I was running really rich at that rpm would it cause the engine to bog down and start popping out of the exhaust. Im thinking that I need to take out some fuel at the higher rpm range?? I know what a lean condition is like and it doesn't feel like that. It doesn't pop out the intake but it is coming out the exhaust. It seems to be getting better the more fuel I take out of the VE#2 table but I would like another opinion. I dont have a wide band but the narrow band o2 is saying that it is very rich in that rpm when I can get a reading. .850 to .950mv. THanks for any help
Yes, its definatly possible. if you don't have a WB, shut down after running it in the problem area and check the plugs. If they're back, its running rich.
Thanks Again dimented!! Now I may be a little confused but how would your engine run if it was way to rich?? It seems as though im hitting a rev limiter at about 5000 to 5200 rpm. Now its not popping anymore but it doesnt want to pull past that. Could this be caused by an overly rich condition?? Or would it be a lean condition?? I thought that if it was lean I would be getting lots of knock counts and Im not. I know that I need a wide band but is there any deffinate way to tell the difference?? I know that Dimented said to check the plugs but I cant seem to get stopped in time and shut it down to get an accurate reading.
Hey fast I think you may be right but how would I beable to read injector duty cycle using a 7747 $42 and Winaldl?? Apparently there is some sort of patch or something?? Please help.

Actually its not a patch that needs to be performed. You simply need to put the PW into the datastream values. There is a whole post dedicated to it, can't find it with the new search though. BMonteSS had a very similar problem to yourself. At a certain RPM it would just start breaking up and not pulling. He increased the fuel pressure, lowered the BPC, and suddenly his 350 would pull upwards of 6,000 rpm.
Ok that sounds like a good idea. Let me know if you can find out how to put the idc into winaldl. Now how do I get more than 20psi of fuel out of my regulator??? Im currently running a TPI pump that will dead head at about 45psi and Im using a jet afpr that will only give me about 20psi maxed. Can I shim the spring or what do you suggest?? I have tried to get the gm high pressure regulator but apparently it is discontinued. Or at least in Canada it is. THanks for the help again!!!!
Ok so Im dumb!! I finally realized that i was goin static do to the fact that I had to high of a ve in that rpm range!! I reduced my BPW and my VE at the rpm that i was going lean and Bam I can now pull past the max RPM of the cam wich is about 5300rpm and it still revs past 5600. I gues Im still learning LOL
