That sounds over hyped, looks really thin at the "airfoil" part, and it outrageously priced. It would also be pointless if you were running a carb manifold.

It is supposed to either give the fuel more time to atomize, or give the air more velocoty. Don't know if it works or not, but if it does it probably wouldn't be noticable.

Re: any one familiar with this TBi spacer plate ?

Actually I think I read on here that the CFMtech spacer is one of the better ones to get. Notice thats not an airfoil there, it is where the spacer allows the 2 bores to meet. Therefore allowing each half of the engine access to both throttle bores.

I really have no experience, never had one, just saying something I read somewhere. I was thinking about getting one along with an open element eventually.

This is a close loock at your intake mainifod, as you can see there is already a opening from one bore to the other. I never tried that spacer but im shure it will not give you any real power.

But will the spacer make any difference in engine and or exhaust noise? I knew someone with a bored TB with a spacer on his 5.0 Mustang and it sounded like he had a turbo the sucking noise was so loud.

Personally, if I start working on the motor, im gonna buy the CFM tech spacer. I have heard both good and bad. Either way though, you will get the cool factor
