ECM broken, what can I do?

Hi everybody,
I could buy a 91´ 305TBI Camaro for a few bucks.
The only problem is, that the car can´t be driven, because the computer is broken.
So what can I do?
Does anybody has an used one that would fit???

Think about the fact I´m here in germany and its not so easy to get any ecms for american cars!!!

So any help is appreciated, thanks Rob

Rob,

How do you know it is the ECM first off? And the ecm swap is pretty simple, get your part number and find another one just like it and do the swap.

Hi Trevis,

Re: ECM broken, what can I do?

If it really is teh computer, then its a fairly straight forward thing to fix. All you need to make sure of is that you swap your prom over to the new computer or youll have a no-start due to the VATS. Look for computers for 89-92 F-bodies and similar year caprices with LO3/5's. Those will have the correct ECMs.
