My weird looking MSD 8226 Coil

Well just google up the MSD 8226 coil, and you can see what I was thinking I would get in my mail.

Just have a look at what I got. It says 8226 right on it, and all the connectors look to work, it just looks different to the other 8226's ive seen online.

Have a look at the pictures I took of it. Maybe MSD just changed how it looked, or updated the design.

Looks identical to the one I put on my car about a week ago.
Pluged right in and has worked great.

Well long as it works is all that matters to me.

It even doesent show this one on MSDs web site. I wonder when they switched to this style?

So long as your bracket is on right it will go in.
I think the only problem I had is mine is against the air pan, or something.
Don't remeber what it was.

Yeh, it does stick up kind of high... Ill just have to see how it fits when I get everything put together, if not Ill just have to go with the Accel coil.

Re: My weird looking MSD 8226 Coil

They must have just changed it.
It was the fuel line bracket that mine is against. Not bad but touching.
Anyway here are a few pics of mine on the car.
