About a month ago, the 90' Formula starting having some starting issues. It will not start unless you give it some gas as you are cranking. It will try to start, but not quite catch if you don't give it gas. It will run rough for a few seconds, then settle into a normal smooth idle. I can hear the fuel pump go, although it seems quiet to me but I never really listened before.
After running the car to my destination, when I put it in park, the idle is around 1200 and it doesn't really drop below 1000 even after letting it sit for a few minutes. I have to turn it off at this idle speed even though i hate doing it.
What could be the problem? The plugs and wires are about a year old. The car smokes on start-up, but it has been doing that for a couple years. The car has about 150k on it. Thanks.

my car does this when it's cold it will start then stop but if u hold the gas in just a little it will stay going, all the sensors are new but only happens when it's close to freezing
