I think I will be biting the bullet soon and becoming a sponsor on here, but before I do that I want to know what kind of a need and interest there is for what I am offering.
Over the years I have had a need for "custom" gasket/o-ring kits for our TBI and have heard others ask for the same.
So, I now have the ability to custom make any size gasket/o-ring kit for the GM TBI unit. The kits are not engine kits, but Throttle Body TBI kits.
Examples of what has been asked for:
1. Complete throttle body overhaul kits with and without regulator diaphragm
2. Injector installation kits
3. Fuel meter kits which includes the large fuel meter cover gasket and small gasket. Made in any number desired.
4. Fuel nut inlet/outlet kits with the impossible to find teflon washers
5. Throttle shaft bushings in a kit with a reamer
6. injector pods
These will be by far the most complete kits you will find anywhere. I am offering this because I have asked EVERYONE who sells kits to custom make a kit for me and most wont do it or the charge to do so is outrageous!
These kits cover almost any combination you can throw at me, lol. All SBC and BBC TBI's.
Just so everyone knows I have been working with TJ and Ken Gomer trying to work out something so I can become a "vendor".
I'll be honest this is just a hobby for me. I am a chiropractor! So, I happen to have the ability and the contacts to be able to offer something back to TGO!
Before I bite the big bullet and fork out a ton of money on "advertising" here or anywhere else I want to make sure people are interested in what I have to offer. Hope that seems fair?
Wish you were around a few months ago, dropped $30 or a little more to do a rebuild with sum rinky dink kit. Wasn't terribly happy and still had a leak. Bought the replacement injector and had to rebuild it again. Pain in the butt, but it would have been nice to save a few $$$$.
Your not going to find as many people thrilled about TBI products, as most will down the system, others like myself are looking to go to TPI some day. Just having a thread here will have someone that is in need of a rebuild the resource to contact you. Having your email just in this thread will open doors, but have paypal set up and ready if you do decide to go public and advertise. Keeping things efficient will definally please anyone with how thorough your kits seem.
Have had PayPal for 8 years now so, it's definitely up and running and that is all I will use. Protection for the buyer and the seller.
My kits are very complete and are ready to ship. I have flow-matched injectors, injector pods, TPS, IAC valves both for sbc and bbc, wiring harness adapters for those sensors, etc, etc, etc, lol
I think you will do fairly well since TBI's are still chugging along. You will have my business, last time i bought a TBI kit, it was missing an O ring for a injector, and the fuel screens were all bent up.
If i know or see a post that pertains to this, ill send them your way since your helping us, hopefully we can help you
I have everything anyone could possibly need to overhaul their TBI. I have all the gaskets, o-rings, sensors (IAC, TPS), 3-wire heated O2 sensors, cleaned injector pods, fuel nuts, etc. I also have all the gaskets and o-rings for the crossfire injection as well.
ROUGH: All I do is take 2 injector pod gaskets and stack them and that raises the injector pod 1/4". I have the correct length screws as well. The screw kits are stainless steel.
So, in a nutshell what do you need? LOL
----------
2 injector pod gaskets is $6 and NOT $19-25 as most ask for the actual spacer. There is NO functional difference between 2 gaskets stacked and a $20 spacer.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
Oh, I also carry wiring harness adapters for throttle position sensors and idle air control valves. these basically convert one style TPS or IAC to another.
when i can persuade the wife , im gonna need a complete rebuild kit pretty much. I had a spare TBI laying around. Started dremeling down the raised ridges and stuff. Gonna go ahead and put in
Id like to plumb up a fuel pressure guage, never done it before, not sure what id need.
I am currently working on modifying the fuel meter cover to accept a schrader valve that will allow a standard fuel pressure gauge to hook up with ease. TPI cars have this, but I never understood why GM never did this for the TBI.
would be nice to have considering i have no clue how old my fuel pump is, and one day when it dies or does not start, i can look at that guage and not waste my time wondering if the pump is going bad plus gauges add horsepower didn't ya know, i heard you get a extra +5 because its in the engine bay lol , sorry was just watching some ***** you tube vidz
sorry, i meant when i ordered it. a few years ago now, i believe it was around 30 bucks, and i think it had everything included, but that was a few years ago. so im sure its irrelevant, sorry.
This is my average sbc kit without regulator diaphragm. I double up on the teflon fuel nut washers and double up on the fuel line o-rings as well.
What I have found is that most TBI kits from auto parts stores have extra gaskets that are not appropriate for our TBI setup and most don't contain a complete kit for the fuel injectors, etc.
Even if one can buy the same kit as i build (they can't lol) my prices with shipping are still usually cheaper overall.
My goal is to provide "custom" kits. If someone wants 5 sets of fuel meter cover gaskets I will make that for them, etc.
most aftermarket kits contain either extra gaskets that are not needed or are short on the important ones!
Anyway, the whole idea is to provide a custom kit service for TGO and others in the TBI community.
I have flow matched injectors with reports that show their exact flow rates and horsepower capabilities. 55lb, 65lb, 80lb and 90lb injectors.
Flow rates range from 660cc/min to 980cc/min @ 1 bar (14.7psi).
Most who make "custom" kits charge a very "custom" price to do so. I refuse to over charge. What I am asking for these kits is very competitive and in every case cheaper in price.
These gaskets are phenomenal quality. They meet or exceed OEM specs and are oil, fuel and chemical resistant. They are manufactured by a company who only does fuel injection components.
I have sold many kits since August and all have been completely satisfied and amazed at the quality.
Im stealing parts for my 220 from old 4cyl units. Some parts actually fit, the rest I make. So I,ll definitely be interested. In middle of a rebuild on one unit and Ultimate II on spare.

looks like you did just fine. If you bore it out you'll need bigger blades and those are impossible to fine. Removing the lip on the top helps to increase airflow. Now just add two injector pod spacer gaskets and that will raise your pod 1/4".
Thats what i will do ! Just gotta grind down the shafts, and sand the unit to a polish. If you grind down the shaft and the bolts, will the bolts come out or will the metal thats around it, kinda melted to it, keep it there ?
