Aldl cable to non serial laptop
I've been looking at all these aldl cables and adapters my dell laptop doesn't have a serial port and I Was wandering if I could use an adapter card like this instead of buying a usb cable? My IT guys at work tell me I should be able to but I have read a bit about how some adapters interfer with the data.

I dont see why not. return it if does not work. I use a PCMIA card to provide a parallel port for my Prominator. First one I bought did not work? I use a serial to usb as well for EBL.
