spark plug installation - Third Generation F-Body Message Boards

so i am going to put plugs in the car tomorrow and i'm thinking i would ask the experts whats the easiest way to replace them. besides paying the shop.

A little patience and anti seize go a long way. You will want to have access to undernieth the car and a spark plug wrench makes things much easier. One can be had on ebay for $5 to $10. Other than that it is pretty straight forward.

I concur, you definitely want some extension sockets along with the sparkplug socket...both can be had at WalMart for $5 to $10...or any autoparts store... Make sure the engine is cold so you don't burn your fingers on the block and heads...

it actually wasn't as hard as it looked. only took me about 30 minutes. did all but the front two under the car.
