I am needing a 305tbi harness for a 91 camaro. somebody on here told me they have a harness that will work for me. so I said I will buy it and sent them the money. ...after that, I found out the harness he has is coming out of a 86 305tbi. I am pretty sure they are different wiring harnesses. does anybody on here know for sure? he claims they should be the same.

There is no TBI harness in a 86 car. It would likely be a carb'd harness unless he changed stuff over. I doubt the pin outs on the bulkhead connector would match up with out at least a few changes. You're better off with a newer one from a 90-91-92. Not to make this an advertisement but I'll be pulling a 92 firebird TBI harness in the next month or so. If you're interested PM me.
