So if I have a carbed car, can I just remove the carb and throw an adapter and TBI unit on top of the carb manifold? I've been reading this (TBI) forum a bit and I've seen alot of mention about TBI specific manifolds and it has me wondering if I will need to buy a new manifold or if I can just use an adapter on my current manifold?

Just be sure to purchase the correct adaptor, there are different adaptors for square and spreadbore manifolds. if you are currently running a q-jet you'll need the spreadbore adaptor. yeah, im looking at buying a kit which includes everything needed. I will keep the spread bore in mind tho, thanks.
I believe holley's adapter is drilled for both versions? I've got one kicking around the toolbox from an intake swap I did a few years back. I'll take a look when I get home.
