Car: 1989 camaro rs Engine: 305 tbi Transmission: 700r4 Axle/Gears: 3.23 lsd swap | i bought a aldl cable- getting started | i hooked everything up and using winaldl software, it reads my ECM. everything works, now i have to learn how to understand all of the data. i understand some of it, but is there a good source of information on all of this. i would like to fully understand all of the data. also, does this give you the same information that a shop scanner provides? if i does, im curious why shops would spend several thousand dollars on a snap-on scanner when the same information is avaible using a used $70 scanner and a $60 cable? it seems to provide a wealth of information. some of it which i dont fully understand. i soon plan on installing a 350 in my car, and im hoping that this will a very usefull tool. the swap im doing is a jasper reman engine, its punched out 40 over, and im going to use an edlebrock perform camshaft sold as computer compatable, heads will remain stock(for now). i also have the 350 tbi unit with the proper size injectors. | | | |
