Like the title says , what cars or trucks have a 350 TBI that I can use. I want to switch
Out the 305 block for a 350. Thanks for the input!

My 87 Silverado had a 350 tbi, and it ran great! I don't know about any cars w/ the tbi though.

As far as i know most of the tbi 350's came in 88-95 c/k trucks. I pulled my LO5 out of an 88 c1500. A little searching and you could find more than an answer to your question.

You could use a non tbi block and just put your tbi system on the engine, you can use any 87+ tpi block with no issues, or any 55 and up gen1 block for that matter you would just need a new intake or modify your existing one.

not if you keep the tbi system, just take the sensors and tbi setup off of the 305 and transplant it onto the 350.

Can you use a short block 350, and keep the stock 305 intake and tbi injector? Is it the induction the same as the 350 tbi (L05)?

LO5 has different injectors, I have an 80-84 4-bolt 350 block (probably from a truck, possibly from a 'vette, but probably a truck) with modified L98 heads off of a 92 Z28 currently with my stock LO3 intake and TB unit that has been modified according to the tech articles on this site.

You modified your l03 intake? did you use your stock l03 tb? I am thinking about changing out my 305 for a 350, and using my existing intake and tb..

I had it portmatched to the heads and I made an egr delete plate but in the future I plan on an aftermarket carb intake and an adapter. If you go to the technical articles section of this forum they have 2 or 3 articles on modifying the factory tbi unit.

Sounds like you have a good plan man. You are planning on putting a throddle body on a carb intake I gather. I read a couple of articles on using a 4v intake and using a tb on it. The original tb intake is way too restrictive.

It is also possible to buy an aftermarket intake manifold, either carb or tbi specific (carb using an adapter plate of course) and use your stock "modded" tbi unit also?
