need help 4.3 TB Injectors drible and oze tones of fuel

Hi I am new to this sit but I have tried searching everywhere, I had just purchased an 88 s15 with a 4.3L just cause I really like em and the price was right but I cant get it running. as soon as I crank the engine or prime the pump the injectors open and just poor fuel in they dont even spray flooding the engine. checked for spark and was good, i eventually disonected the fuel and cranked it for fear of over flooding, pulled the plugs and there all black, I tried to get it to flash a little with a little fuel down the TB and it barley stumbles, I checked the grounds and there all good and wires to the injectors, just dončt know where to start now can anyone help.

could be bad o-rings where the injectors fit into the
throttle body,o-rings could also missing if someone has
tampered with the injectors and forgot the o-rings

ok so I have solved the rich problem(I think), I have no experience with the tbi stuff and unshure about the regulator but I found that the regulator spring was busted. I had switched injectors aswell but I think they must have been no good cause I had pressure right to the injectors, but nothingout from them, the previous owner had botched the firing order, but now the problem is it wont fire, I have spark, and fuel (from adding manually) but still wont flash if Im lucky it stumples for a second or two , I was wondering if crank speed might cause it not to flash up , I am trying to start it of my other truck with jumper cables, I fried a starter trying to get it running yesterday and the starter I put in is kinda slow aswell aswithched the tps and ais map aswell

you will have to check for voltage at the injectors to see
if the ECM is trying to activate them, also injectors will
often stick if they sit unused for a while, there are
several methods to unstick them

ya the injectors I swaped in where out of a truck that had been sitting for some time, I used the original regulator with the original injectors, replaced the regulator spring and they seem to be firing right, asides a little drip after they open. I thought that shouldnt be that bad, I just dont think Im cranking fast enouf to start now, I get two tree slow revolutions before compretion stops the starter dead.

With the compression stopping the engine along with the previous firing order being off. It sounds like there is now too much spark advance. That will cause a hard crank condition.

Also need to be careful to not flood the engine.

Best bet is to work on getting the distributor timing closer to 0 BTDC. There are various methods to do this. If you have a timing light use that. Disconnect the injectors, loosen the distributor clamp, get some one to crank while holding the throttle open, and use the light to get 0 BTDC via the distributor position.

Then snug the distributor, re-connect the injectors, and see if it starts.

ya I took everything apart lined up the crank on the mark set the distributer at 0 tdc or as close as the eye could get, (I droped my timing light). whenever I thought it might be flooded I cranked it withought any plugs a few times and let it sit awile, whats the worst thing that could happen by flooding it Im sure it was flooded a coule of times, spark keeps looking strong....and Im picking up a new starter and batery tomorow.

Holding the go-pedal to the floor while cranking is a clear flood mode. The injector PW is reduced to clear the engine of fuel.

OK so now Im banging my head of the fender, I really dont know what to say, I just installed a new starter and battery and its cranking way faster, but still will not fire got air got fuel and got spark double checked everything and just don't have a clue, the only thing I havn't cheacked is comprestion and I know I have some cause the old starter wouldn't pass through it. I even jacked up the rear of the truck to level the engine to make shure all cylenders are getting some fuel
what the heck am I missing
