any help will do

hi im fairly new to third gens and motors in general.my question is what engine mods can i do for a 305 t.b.i h.o. motor ?i dont want to completely mod it but like cam and intake roller rockers and anything im missing.that is straight bolt on cause im from missouri and apparently you cant really sup up your car inless you say whats in it blah blah.so what cam could i get and would it be better to get all new pistons and rods and crankshaft or just use the one i have.also maybe intake to .anything could help

Your kinda limited on a TBI motor unless you learn chip programming and get a programmer. The heads, intake, and exhaust are your restrictions. You can install emission legal headers, and a better intake, and maybe the LT1 cam without programming chips - but anything else and you'll need a new chip made.

Best seat of your pants feeling upgrade is a different rear end gear - right now you have a 2.73 peg leg - a 3.08 or 3.42 posi rear end would give you a better feel without modding anything emission-wise.

The stickies above yield alot of info, and the function works surprisingly well, as there are thousands of posts on modding TBI motors for better performance.
