Transmission: TH700r4 with vette servo,hd oil pum
Axle/Gears: now 3.73 posi old 3.23 posi

Is there better Vortec TBI intake than EDL-2116

i have 206/212 cam now and want to change it to 230/234 hotcam . do i need to find better intake such as Edelbrock 7116 or 7516 or SUM-226019 . or i dont win anything ? thanks

Consider a vortec carb manifold with a tbi adapter plate? Pro products $140 plus ship plus the adapt plate cost at summitracing.com.

I already have 2116 Edelbrock intake. i think maby there is more better for this cam

Something tells me that manifold is limited much like the one for standard GM tbi heads. I would shoot Edel an email on its application intention.

From what I know is that the 7116 is a better design and has bigger runners.I to have the 2116 on my 383 and considering the 7116.If you are taking about the lt1lt4 hotcam than thats not the correct duration you posted.The hot cam is a 218/226 duration.
