Fuel delivery problem

I have been having a problem with my car for about 6 months, it only happens sometimes, I'm not exactly sure what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's a fuel delivery problem.

I was driving to work today and I shifted to third gear (removed foot from gas obviously) and when I shifted and got into the gas again it just bogged, it sounded like it was on all cylinders but it just wasn't going, no rpm increase, so I floored it, and NOTHING, no pull, didn't change, and I was going about 25 miles an hour, it wasn't as if I shifted too early or anything.

Other times it will only do it about 1/4 throttle upon shifting into a new gear, that's another reason why I think it has to be a fuel delivery problem because it only occurs while shifting into a new gear and when you get back into the throttle.

flooring it usually fixes it, but what do you guys think the problem can be?

Injectors are getting clogged?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Re: Fuel delivery problem

either that or one of the various controling sensors. which to me it sounds more like a sensor ready to drop a duece. mainly either ur tps or map. or even ur oil pressure sensor can screw up ur fuel pump flow.
I have been getting check engine light codes for low voltage at fuel pump since I blew chunks off my bottom end and my pressure at idle will drop down to 1-10psi.
and back to the fuel issue if it is. ever change ur pump?, filter?, injectors?......or still all original?.....if so change ur filter when u do if u find any bigger black chunks in there it's time to drop ur tank cause the little 4" black rubber hose if failing.

Re: Fuel delivery problem

What I think I'll do is test the fuel pressure, whenever I get the time for that, then I'll base my next decision on those results, I just wanted to know if anyone knew what it could be.

I'll try to determine whether it happens in both closed and open loop.

If it happens in closed loop it can't be the map or anything, it still could be the TPS though.
