Ok so i have a 90rs.... right now im running into some issues with starting....it seems to be somewhat of a pattern of the car not wanting to start at night....the odd thing being that i live in AZ so its not so cold during the night...however this is the second day in a row that the car refused to start at night...but about mid day it starts no problem.
after cranking it for a while the other night i gave up and let it sit for about 10 mins...then i poured a little gas into the throttle body and cranked it...and it started and was good to go
now i tried this again this morning and it started but if i wasnt fully pumping the gas on and off then it would stall out
i have replaced the fuel filter and just tested the fuel pressure....
when i turn the key forward pressure jumps up to about 10-12psi then when the pump stops priming the pressure drops to nothing...but if i start the car the pressure goes back up to about 12psi and stays there while the car is running
yes i do hear the fuel pump prime every time i turn the key forward so i know that much is working....but other than that i dont know what else could be causing this problem...any help appriciated.
ok so now the car will start most of th time but immefiatly after starting it stalls. the only way to kee the car running is if i keep pumping the gas...if i let off the gas it stalls...also if instead of pumpng the throttle i just say hold it at halfway it gets a little bit of gas then dies as if im not even on the throttle anymore....
