any ET numbers??????

ok, I was wondering what kind of ETs to look for out of my car.
its a 92 RS 305 auto with3.23 gears posi,BFg drag radials, cat back flowmast exaust, auto with shift kit, (no stall as of yet) open air cleaner throttle spacer and a chip. i have a nitrous set up but wont put it on till the back up MTR is done.o ya a 195 thermostate
any guess as to the et??lets say it goes 1.9 to 1.8 60 foot as best. also what would be a good shift point?5000rpm?

Thanks Doug

Re: any ET numbers??????

Is this all the better i can hope out of the car? it looks like I might have to put nitrous on it to keep up witha TPI or LT1 car. I was hoping for some 14.5-14.9s. o well it ooks like I might have to sell the car. if my buddy with his new 5.0(stock from old man) puts any mods on his car im dead. time for some nitrous and maybe a LT1 CAR IS IN ORDER. thanks for the info.

Re: any ET numbers??????

If you want to keep up with a TPI car you should get some headers. If you want to keep up with any LT1's you'll have dig into the motor with heads & cam or drop in a 350 after headers.

Re: any ET numbers??????

See my signature. It's not too hard to get into the 14's with a 305 with stock heads, a lot of guys from the boards have done it with an LT1 cam, full exhaust and some other little things.
