Has anyone here tried dynamicefi? If you have, is it worth the hassle? I'm thinkin real hard about it.

I will suggest the people that run it have significant engine mods that require tuning.

well my plan is to put tbi or my vortec headed 327, punched 40 over, and edelbrock 2201 hydraulic roller cam(retrofit), 454 throttle body, all be port matched and a hot ignition. with me using a different motor, i thought it my require another computer

You can burn chips for your current ECU. But EBL is better and easier.

just about everybody on these boards running the EBL is extremely impressed with it and how well it works. If you have a modded engine that needs tuning, an EBL system is a great way to dial it in vs. a mail order prom.

EBL is an all in one programmer and datalogger. If you are thinking of going the prom burning route it would be cheaper, but the extra money spent now will payoff in the end. Plus, the EBL is a faster processor so you get more logs per second.

thanx for the help so far guys. so your saying that it doesnt matter that its a factory 305 tbi computer as far as a prom goes right i looked at some of the intro tuning on the website and i dont understand any of it but i have never tuned anything before either. im in a dilemma. im bout ready to go with a carb.
