High idle stalling at turns

so as the title says it is a 89 305 tbi and the car had been idleing low so re replaced the IAC and reset it to what the instructions said to drive at 40mph and it will reset and now it is idleing at 1500 in park and 1100 and drive and just today the car stalls when comming to a stop or turning after it stalls it starts right back up i am at a lost as to what to do now.

Problem solved by swapping ECM to another one runs like a champ now

Re stalling at slow speeds, check your oxygen sensor.

Does the service engine light light when you have the car OFF but the key is in the RUN position?

How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime, and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain

To find out why you’re getting no code 12 with the A-B jump:

Make sure the key is
OFF.

Disconnect the ECM.

Turn the key to
RUN.

Let me know if the SES STILL LIGHTS with the key in
RUN.

Re: Service Engine Soon - er Or Later

just a update still having high idle i have replaced TPS and no fix. i brought home a sanp on pro scanner and it will not read the computer either. when using the jumper the check engine light just stays steady and doesnt turn off. I just dont understand why it runs so smooth but is idleing at 1500rpm.

If you followed the procedure in post 5, and the SES was lit at the conclusion of the test there is a short to ground on the negative lead of the SES lamp.

That line comes off pin A5 of the ECM.

Check for a contaminated oxygen sensor.
