350 tbi headache

i have a 92 rs with a 350 tbi in it, now i just bought the car mind you. i tried starting it today and i wasnt getting any spray from the injectors. i took them out and took an air hose to them and re-installed, tried starting it agian and they sprayed for a sec and that was all she wrote. wouldnt spray anymore until i took them back out and re-installed them, would this be a VATS issue or the module? PLEASE HELP!!

Re: 350 tbi headache

how does the fuel pump sound? try seeing if you're even getting fuel. pull the line and see how much fuel comes out, or just test the fuel pressure (about 12 psi)
if it's not much, it could be a clogged fuel filter.

Check for codes. Does the SES light come on? The car shouldn't even turn over if its vats. Just the red security light will come on.

Re: 350 tbi headache

thanks for all the help, i figured it out, measured the resistence on the key and cut the vats wire and soldered in a resistor with the same amount of ohms and fired right up and runs like a raped date
