| Tbi and msd distributor 85551 Possible?
| I have a tbi setup in my chevy, 95 350 V8 swap. i would like to know is it possible to have the computer control only the fuel and have an msd distributor control the timing? I already have an msd 6a box and an msd coil and recently purchased the distributor model 85551 on craigslist for $100. the thing is msd techs tell me that it is not possible to run an efi setup unless the pcm controls the timing as well as the fuel and without either one being controlled it will not work. this sounds true however i recall reading somewhere in the post that it may be possible with a chip burner. any ideas fellas? | | | |
