TBI Adjustable Fuel Pressure Range

I've read the range on the stock regulator goes from 10-15psi. I can't get more than 12psi on mine.

Has anybody had a similar issue?

Re: TBI Adjustable Fuel Pressure Range

It may be that is all it can do. Many of us upgraded to a Delco TPI FP. Threre is also a slightly stiffer spring available at topdownsolutions.

Since I'm looking to eventually replace/rebuild my engine - could I still use a TPI FP and keep the fuel pressure within specs for my stock TBI?

Re: TBI Adjustable Fuel Pressure Range

yes. your stock FPR will bleed off the excess pressure to gas tank. A Delco unit is highly recommended.
