Best replacement Intake?

For those who don't know, I took my fresh L98 and installed it in my 1988 C1500. It runs great!

355, l98, 10:1 comp 08-501-8 cam.

I am running a stock TBI intake atm with 65lb injectors.

I would like to upgrade the intake to better match the set up.

I have a 454 TB in waiting.

I have a custom pulley set up so no brackets go to the intake, only the MAP and ESC bracket still mounts up.

Looks like my options are,

Edelbrock TBI intake,

Performer RPM with an adapter

or a Victor with an adapter?

Any suggestions?

Only got 350 miles on the new set up, but I am super impressed with the way this motor pulls with the stock TBI intake!

Heard good things about the performer, I thought it was direct fit with no adapter

Re: Best replacement Intake?

There is a TbI performer that does mt need an adapter, but the rpm is only avalible for 4 barrel.

Re: Best replacement Intake?

I Have the Edelbrock TBI Performer Intake (3704). It works well with my setup 450lift, mild duration lost cam card but it is quite bigger than the LT1 cam but nothing too intense, 187 heads with max port work done. Ive heard it really performs well with some port work done to the bores. Open them up to 46mm or larger and port a crossflow hole within the intake. I'll be having my machinist follow this thread by Thomas1976

Victor Jr 2bbl with an adapter and some grinding in the plenum for the 454 TBI bores.
