I have recently discovered a Holley TBI ugrade with a completely new TBI unit around $300. but I am not sure it will work on my 305. I have a 1991 RS if you guys could help that would be great

that link will take you directly to the TBI unit on the site and tell you everything about it...... it is supposed to go on a 87-89 305 in a truck? so I dont know plus there is a model for 350's if anyone is intrested.

The Holley TBI unit will work but the bores on this unit are 2" while the stock TBI is 1.68". In order for the Holley unit to work you would have to bore out your stock intake (or the Edelbrock Performer TBI intake) or buy the Holley Projection intake that already has the 2" bores. Unless you are producing over 300HP right now, the stock unit is just fine.

yes, it will work on your 305.
in jegs, the part # you need is 510-502-5. its for a 5.0L for 87-89, but i see no reason why it wouldnt fit on your car.
